Haiti Medical Teams
Since February 2010 we have been staffing a clinic in the Cite Soleil slums in Port-au-Prince and we need more volunteers to help with our ongoing and expanding medical ministry. Medical volunteers who served at the clinic continue to send us notes saying what a deeply rewarding experience it was to minister to these people in Jesus' Name. In June, we opened three additional clinics as well as a mobile medical clinic to go into areas where people lack care. 
Samaritan’s Purse UK is supporting the global Samaritan’s Purse response to the earthquake in Haiti by sending medical professionals to help treat earthquake victims there and to treat cholera patients who have been affected by the recent outbreak in Dec 2010.
If you are a physician, nurse, or pharmacist with a Christian faith and are interested in serving in Haiti for 2 weeks, please email teams@samaritans-purse.org.uk for more information on current opportunities and an application form. We are currently recruiting for volunteers to serve between the 7th - 23rd October 2011. If this excits you we would love to talk with you about serving with us in Haiti.
